Happy Earth Day 2021
To celebrate… we are doubling up on our contributions for planting trees over the next week. For every scarf sold through the Tree Forest Studios Boutique from 22nd April - 28th April. Thanks to our current chosen organisations, The World Land Trust, Tree Sisters, and Trees For Cities. Meanwhile, we are working on our production to add replenish the stock of TFS Silk Scarves for the 01_Resonate collection… and working on the next capsules to come.

With each collection, we want to constantly optimise the quality, fabrics, techniques, and sourcing, so that each silk scarf and blanket scarf can last at least one lifetime, while also making sure ecosystems stand a chance by growing future forests. Some of the key actions we take is to keep manufacturing local. Currently our entire Tree Forest Studios collection is Made in the UK. All the TFS Blanket Scarves are Made in London, and luxuriously hand-finished by our talented craftspeople.
As for the packaging and shipping, we are currently using unique, one-off vintage gift boxes… so that you receive a delightful surprise upon delivery. Lest not forget the outer shell of our packaging - it is a fully home compostable mailer envelope, which is a part of the No Issue Eco-Packaging Alliance, getting more trees into the soil at worldwide reforestation projects. You can feel free to choose what to do with your bio-polymer envelope - either re-use it or compost it in your garden, it’s 100% biodegradable.

We are currently at the earlier sapling stages of our business, but we have big plans to grow - sustainably and responsibly. To do so, plenty of R&D needs to be done, as we’re constantly curious and looking at new ways of doing things, from materials to image making. As with research, since 2017 we tend to start each online search on Ecosia - so we’re always contributing to some planting efforts somewhere in the world.
